My first poetry collection in print

I debated for a while whether to self-publish or play the traditional game of submitting work to publishers, but I’m too impatient for that. Plus I have friends who were waiting for me to put together a collection… so hell, I just did it. Being a graphic designer meant that laying out a book wasn’t too challenging. Being an artist meant I could do my own cover illustration. Why wait?

Now my words are out there, in people’s hands, in the post to different parts of the country, and I’m now preparing my very own launch event where I’ll read my poetry out loud to an audience. This is all a first-time experience for me, but I’m looking forward to it.
